Britney Jean Spears

Britney Jean Spears was born on 2 December, 1981 in McComb, Mississippi & raised in Kentwood, Louisiana. Britney was the first dancer of her age and also won numerous competitions in gymnastics. Britney is a singer, but most important, she was a fan of dancing classes. Britney was eight years old when the time came for her to join The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989) however her youth led to her being disqualified. Britney was then suggested to the off-Broadway musical "Ruthless" in which she played the lead role for two years. When she was 11 years old, she again tried for The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989) and, this time, made it as a mouseketeer alongside the stars of the present (Justin Timberlake as well as JC Chasez of *NSYNC and Ryan Gosling). In the latter part of the 90s, Britney signed with Jive Recording Artist. Britney was an enormous success following her first album, "Baby one more time." "...Baby one more time" in 1999. The album sold over 13 million copies (as as of July 2001), of her second album "Oops !...I did it Again" that was released in May 2000. Britney was the daughter of Lynne Spears & Jamie Spears and she has a large brother named Bryan Spears & a little sister, Jamie Lynn Spears. From the time she was a kid, Britney was always fixing to be a star with her idols like Madonna, Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston, the young Britney was always singing, no matter what else was going on in the world around her. After having a lot of singing and dancing classes and performing in numerous show and fairs Britney was a candidate for The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989) television show (from 1989 to 1994) when she was 8years old, however, she was too young to get the part. Britney along with her baby sister Britney relocated to New York, where she played in a variety of TV commercials as well as an off Broadway production called "Ruthless", under the guidance by Natalie Portman. She discovered her love for music and dancing two years later, when she auditioned again for "Mickey Mouse" and won the part along with Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera.
