Will Ferrell
Will Ferrell was a member of the cast of Saturday Night Live before going into the big screen to play comedy like 'Elf "Anchorman," as well as Talladega Nights. Born in 1967 in Irvine, California, Will Ferrell started his career in comedy as an actor in the improv group from Los Angeles known as the Groundlings. He was a Saturday Night Live cast member for seven years , and he became a huge comedic draw with off-color films, like Old School 2003 and Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy 2004. Ferrell is also co-creator of the popular video streaming website Funny or Die, and experienced success as a voiceover actor through animated films like Megamind (2010). John William Ferrell was born on the 16th of July, 1967, in Irvine, California. The oldest child of Righteous Brothers keyboardist Lee Ferrell and teacher Kay Ferrell, Will was--by his own admission, not the class clown while a student at University High School. Ferrell, who was quiet and serious, chose to make his mark on the field where he set an all-time record at the school for the most field goals that he made. Ferrell was a more laid-back person living in suburban homes and didn't show the same kind of outrageous or humorous expressions later in his career. His mother who was interviewed by Esquire reported that her son was even-tempered and easygoing. "You have any memories of those Matchbox cars?" Will would arrange his Matchbox cars by himself and be content. It would be like, "You want to go to Disneyland today or set up your cars?' and he'd think about it. Ferrell was not a straight guy. The hints of his comic skills was visible every morning at the high school when he disguised his voice in order to announce his daily activities through the PA system. Ferrell earned his degree from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles in 1986. He was a member of the Delta Tau fraternity, and was pursuing a degree in sports journalism.
